Vietnam, who is becoming an evermore important country in the global economic supply chains, would almost certainly launch an operation to liberate the Chinese occupied Truong Sa (Paracel Islands) as well.
Whether the US itself militarily intervenes to support Taiwan first or not I would be shocked if the Chinese don't attack US bases in Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines.
With South Korea attacked that brings in the 10th largest economy in the world and North Korea would act up and another critical semiconductor producer would be at war.
Given the fact that the US and likely also the UK, Canada, and others would be distracted in Taiwan, it is very likely that Russia would decide to either attack us or attack brotherly countries of ours. | 337 |
