In this video, we discuss how the idea of reservation stems from the Separate Electorates (рдкреГрдердХ рдирд┐рд░реНрд╡рд╛рдЪрд┐рдХрд╛) of 1909, how the idea of reservation became intrinsic to women empowerment and what the reservation in the Panchayati Raj Institutions can teach us. We also do a comparative analysis of how other countries ensure women representation without reservation and discuss a way forward.
