Handicap Real Madrid (-1.5) (1.70)
Both in pre-season and in the opening round of La Liga, Real Madrid looked far more convincing than Real Sociedad. The biggest advantage the Los Blancos have is the depth of their squad. That proved decisive against Espanyol, when substitute Endrick came off the bench and scored the winning goal late on.
The Basque side made no significant additions over the summer, and they visibly faded in the second half against Real Betis, eventually conceding the only goal of the game. Matarazzo simply doesn’t have the same options from the bench to make changes and strengthen the team during a match.
Real Madrid have also come out on top in each of their last three head-to-head meetings, winning two of them by more than a one-goal margin. We expect another convincing victory from the Los Blancos today.

Their significantly reshuffled back line still needs time to gel, so keeping a clean sheet tonight looks unlikely. For us, Both Teams to Score at a decent price looks like the most appealing option.

Manchester City and Bournemouth both head into the new season with new managers. The Citizens came up short in the Community Shield, but their opponents were Arsenal, so it’s far too early to write Maresca’s side off based on one disappointing result.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, are yet to face any top-level opposition under Marco Rose, and the German manager has no previous Premier League experience. On top of that, the Cherries are simply inferior to their upcoming opponents in terms of squad quality. Erling Haaland alone has the individual ability to decide a game.
We expect Manchester City to avoid any slip-up at home in the opening round and start the new campaign with all three points.

Since the summer break, Djurgardens have been in excellent form, picking up win after win, while conceding in just one match during this run. A week ago, Vasteras were unable to put up any real resistance against their opponents. We don’t expect another heavy defeat this time, but Djurgardens should once again come away with all three points.

The two sides are fairly evenly matched, as last season’s results showed, with the clubs finishing next to each other in the table. In a situation like this, home advantage could prove decisive, which makes Silkeborg the favourites for this game. What’s more, the hosts have already beaten Odense twice this spring. We expect a similar outcome this time around.
