زیرشاخه Slushwave که در آثار میانی تلهپث توسعه یافت را میتوان با سمپلهای چندلایه، Reverb های شدیدتر از معمول و با بهرهجویی از استتیکِ تبلیغات دهه 80ای شرقی شناخت. به نظر من میتوان آثار این سبک را پلی میان آثارِ رویامحور دریمپانک و آثار مقدم Vaporwave کلاسیک (با آن تمرکز معروفش بر پستمدرنیسم، مصرفگرایی و کاپیتالیسم) دانست؛ گویی اینجا بود که هنرمندان متوجه پتانسیلِ Vaporwave خارج از حالت Parody و انتقاد اجتماعیاش شدند.
اثر پیشِ رو از گیراترین، ریتمیکترین و دلنشینترین کارهای تلهپث در سبک Slushwave است.
