Dear tangueros, Today marks the last day I am managing the “Tango Portal Tbilisi” channel. For over 2.5 years, I’ve been happy to support our wonderful tango community, promote events, and provide a space for connection and sharing. However, as I previously mentioned, it has become difficult for me to continue dedicating the necessary time and energy to this project. Since no one has expressed interest in taking over the channel, I have made the decision to close it. I hope the channel has been helpful to all of you, and I believe the vibrant tango community in Tbilisi will continue to thrive with the passion and love that has always been its foundation. If you need any help or guidance with body movement, tango techniques, or personal advice on improving your dance experience, please feel free to reach out to me on Telegram @natalia_gaidarova or on Instagram. Saturday, September 14th, 15:30 - ▫️Dance in reduced space : How to feel big in a crumped milonga▫️ We struggle when we don't have the time to expand our movement and we get bored of our own movements. But why not recreate the steps we have in a different way? Why not look for different ways to find freedom in a small space? Let's Research and expand our vocabulary! (intermediate) 3. Sunday, September 15th, 14:00 - ▫️Asynchronyc dance : Dancing different music with your partner▫️ In most of our dance, we have the tendency to try to dance the same musicality as our partner. As leaders we stress if we don't get to be followed with the same beat and as followers we don't find the way to dance that little piano we love! Let's open a new path to find more music in our communication! (intermediate) 4. Sunday, September 15th, 15:30 - ▫️Improvisation : Learn a process to create and propose your own movement▫️ As students we are used to learn new steps and expand our resources from a class, from a video, or from a mate. Dear tangueros, The "Tango Portal Tbilisi" channel has been active for over 2.5 years. During this time, I have tried to support the local tango community, promote events, and help the teachers. However, I am now mentally exhausted 😓 and can no longer continue investing so much time and resources into running the channel without receiving anything in return. I no longer have the strength or motivation to manage the milonga and class schedules or handle other organizational matters. Therefore, I have decided either to close the channel or to hand over the administration rights to someone who truly loves ❤️ our community and is willing to support it voluntarily. If any of you are interested in taking on this role, I have two important conditions: 1. You must be an active part of the Tbilisi tango community—attend milongas and classes, and interact with dancers 💃🕺. 2. You must not be an organizer of milongas, practicas, or classes. This is important to maintain the channel's neutrality ⚖️ and ensure that all tango events in the city are represented equally. I will continue managing the channel for one more month. If no one is interested in taking over, I will close the channel. If you feel motivated and capable of continuing the work on the channel, please contact me in a private message @natalia_gaidarova. P.S. I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that I am available to help with body issues—feet, hip joints, shoulder pain, etc. 🦶🦵🤲 I work on gait and movement pattern correction, which can be especially beneficial for tangueros.
