🇫🇷🇱🇹 France will hold a "Lithuanian Season" art event organized all over France
In Autumn, France will host a series of events in 30 french cities between September 12th and until the end of the year. Over 130 projects were selected, and the event has attracted over 500 artists, experts, and performers.
The head of the Lithuanian Culture Institute says that the events would allow the French to get to know Lithuanian arts, culture and history, and could open up the two countries to even wider opportunities.
Prior to the opening the the Embassy of Lithuania in France is organising dozens of events under the name of the Prelude to the Season and the opening weekend will be full of events in Paris. The Pompidou Centre, in collaboration with the MO Museum in Vilnius, will open an exhibition showcasing Lithuania’s art since the 1960s.

Dear friends. I am addressing first of all the pan-Baltists living in Latvia, because right now we have the opportunity to contribute to the development of Latvian culture and, above all, vexillology.
Amid the adoption of the flags of Latgale, Zemgale and Selonia, I launched a single campaign for the adoption of the flag for the most densely populated region of Latvia, which, I believe, is home to many Latvians present - Vidzeme. Since February, I have been writing appeals to the Office of the President of Latvia, the Council for the Development of Historical Lands and regional governments.
At the moment, I decided to draw public attention to the solution of this issue, so about a week ago I created a petition on the website (https://manabalss.lv/vidzemes-vesturiskas-zemes-karoga-pienemsanas-kampana), dedicated to this issue. At the moment, 24 out of 1000 votes have been received, and I count on your support. I will also be glad if you send your variants of the flag to Vidzeme, which we will add to the existing ones.

🇱🇹🇱🇹 Lithuania flies NATO flags celebrating it's 20th year anniversary.
Lithuania joined NATO on March 29, 2004.
An enormous 540-square-meter was hoisted to the Vilnius' TV Tower and will be raised daily throughout the week. Also to the Defence ministry announced that there will be a celebration ceremony on Daukanto Square in front of the presidential palace at noon.
"Two Mirage fighter aircraft of the French Air Force from the current rotation of the NATO Air Policing Mission and four helicopters of the US Air Force, two Black Hawk and two Chinook, will congratulate the audience with a fly-past during the event."
The Energy and Technology Museum will hold an interactive exhibition creatively dubbed "November. Alpha. Tango. Oscar." The exhibition offers visitors to try four simulattions; Parachuting, UAV jamming, Communications security, and Firing."
