Why was Ayatollah Khamenei mourned so massively by Iranians? The answer lies in the fact that whatever issues Iranians have with the government of the Islamic Republic Khamenei lived and died to protect the legacy of sovereignty and independent development that the revolution of 1979 created. The Iranian masses know that and hence why they mourn the departed leader. Compare this to the imperialist leaders who are utterly despised by their own populations and know that they are. No one will mourn Starmer, Trump, Macron, Merz or any of the other hollow men who head the governments of those who plunder nations.

The livestream tomorrow will feature our study of the looming end of formal Irish neutrality and its causes. This will be followed by the aforementioned World Cup special!

Between capitalist and communist society there lies the period of the revolutionary transformation of the one into the other. Corresponding to this is also a political transition period in which the state can be nothing but the revolutionary dictatorship of the proletariat

There'll be a short essay up on substack soon regarding what Trump's anti communist ravings in front of Mount Rushmore actually tell us about ruling class anxieties.

If the PSL are absorbed by the DSA (meaning in reality that they have been absorbed by the Democrats) then that can only be a good thing. The great bulk of US leftist organisations simply orbit the democrats anyway so why not just end the farce and join them formally.

The socialist revolution is not one single act, not one single battle on a single front; but a whole epoch of intensified class conflicts, a long series of battles on all fronts, i.e., battles around all the problems of economics and politics, which can culminate only in the expropriation of the bourgeoisie. πŸ‡ΎπŸ‡ͺ| The Yemeni Armed Forces’ Spox: This Friday morning, Saudi warplanes violated the airspace of Yemen in an attempt to prevent an Iranian civilian aircraft, carrying more than 200 citizens from landing at Sana’a International Airport, which, along with Yemen, has been subjected to an unjust siege for nearly 11 years. However, its attempt failed, by the grace of God, through the Yemeni Armed Forces confronting this attempt by targeting it with a number of air-defense missiles. It was forced to leave the airspace. @FotrosResistancee

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ Ukrainian Public Opinion on War and Alliances According to a Gallup poll, 66% of Ukrainians believe the country should seek a negotiated end to the war as soon as possible. Only 24% support continuing the fight until victory. 70% consider a quick end to the conflict unlikely. On NATO membership, 38% think Ukraine will never join, while 32% expect accession within ten years. 49% believe Ukraine will join the EU in the next decade. @Slavyangrad

Now I'm on a world cup roll I'm thinking there will be a world cup special livestream soon where I will deal with the following issues 1) The Scotland team were utter fucking dross 2) The conspiracy against the Iranian team that involved both the US government and FIFA 3) The game that made me hate the English national team 4) The revolution must also destroy FIFA and imprison its entire board of directors Any other issues you want feel free to throw them into the mix. I'll probably make this into the Sunday show.

Then time to cheer on Senegal against the Belgians.

Ah well. Now time to cheer on Bosnia against the USA.
