Not to sound dramatic, this is a decision I’ve been sitting on for months now (I was hoping to retire this cycle).
Somewhere along the way, every jeet decided they were a caller. “Success” in that lane now mostly means being a dev too (or start as a dev first, a scammy one, like the one that rugged a big marketing wallet, then became a KOL) farming attention, and spending your days kissing other KOLs’ asses.
The amount of cheesy, performative, cringe behavior around it is not something I want any part of (never did, but that’s the way forward it seems) I have zero interest in being labeled, today, a ‘caller’ or a ‘KOL.’
With respect to the very few solid callers and KOLs still left.
