There are a lot of speculations on how UPSC prelims result will be. These are some tips from my side. 1. Look at CSAT score first. 2. If you are able to clear CSAT or at the margin then you can prepare for mains 3. GS cutoffs are likely to come down. 4. I dont know if it is right to predict a score but the variables to calculate is- higher vacancies, toughness of GS and CSAT paper. 5. 5 considering these GS cutoff might be 75-85s or maybe lower also. If clearing UPSC is your goal then you must not be too much bogged down by the prelims result. Focus on mains. Thats where the real game happens. In prelims you can only do some controllable elements which might take you close enough to the cutoff. The uncertainty exists and thats the reality of UPSC. When you had started to prepare for UPSC you were aware of this uncertainty. Yet if you decided to prepare then that means you had faith in your capability. Let that faith in you own self be strong. If you believe it and are refady to give your 100% , nothing can stop you from winning. Keep fighting champions!!

Sometimes things dont pan out the way we plan it. Thats the harsh reality of life. Life is not always fair. You might be thinking right now on why your life is so hard. At this juncture, always look at the lives of those who are much less fortunate than you. There are countless people who cant even meet their basic needs of water and food. These are things we take for granted. UPSC is just another exam. Its not the end of life. Yes, we have invested our time and effort into this battle. But like in any sport there always winners and losers. And every winner was once a loser who never stopped trying. So of you feel that you still want to clear this exam badly then you should try again. Find out where you made mistakes and improve upon them. You will taste success if you work smart and hard. And if you feel uncertain about UPSC then you can find better alternatives. There are numerous people around who have failed UPSC but made it real big in other areas. These are the real fighters who were ready to face all kinds of challenges. Be strong. Let no one make you feel inferior if you did not clear this exam. Nobody will value your hard work. Its only your own self that has to satisfied about the work you put in. Be a better human being. Be strong, calm and persistent. All the best for your future endeavours.
