Did the Oscars really happen this past weekend? I had no idea. Once upon a time I counted the days to the annual event known as the Academy Awards. As a filmmaker, winning an Oscar was once the Holy Grail of goals. Today, I could not care less. The committee that oversees the Academy Awards is as corrupt as the US Government and as woke as American universities. From the red carpet parade of glitz and glamor, to the cringy virtue signaling speeches, the Oscars have become a symbol of everything that is wrong with Hollywood. It is a cult. A cult I escaped over 20 years ago. Since then my life and work has bloomed in ways impossible to articulate. There are few freedoms more liberating than the freedom of expression. Consensus kills creativity. True art comes from the unbound right to think independently from the masses. Hollywood has become a factory for the mass-production of compliant influencers. It is where art goes to die. To all the emerging artists out there, you are too good for tinsel town. Aim higher. Stay true to yourself. Never sell out. Mikki here with a response to the few who are questioning my reasoning for creating a musical. I’ll start by saying this- the real pandemic is the agenda to diminish everything worth living for. If you’re paying attention, you should be aware that everything that brings you happiness and love are under attack. Our creative gifts, such as music, have been hijacked by divisive messages. So what can we do about this? Plandemic The Musical is my way of awakening the brilliant and resilient human spirit that at the moment is being suffocated under corporate media’s relentless assault against our lives and future. MY plan is to remind humanity that life is always worth living and that love is always possible. That the best way to dissolve the darkness is by shining our brightest. I’m not posting much these days but this needs to be said. Feel free to share it! Let’s get clear on the so-called “bi-partisan border deal” that republicans killed: This is a textbook game of politics. Democrats see that the number one issue for voters in 2024 is border security. Blue states have finally gotten a taste of what it’s like to care for thousands of new immigrants on a daily basis and it is killing them! Seeing that their plan to build a new voting block by incentivizing immigrants to cross our open borders has backfired, Democrats are now trying hard to flip the script and point the border disaster on Republicans. They presented a bill that mostly focused on sending many billions of dollars to foreign countries, while Americans are left out in the cold. Only a small portion of their proposed budget would’ve been used for border security. They did that intentionally so that no sane Republican would dare vote for that bill. Now Democrats can claim that they are the ones fighting for border security, while Republicans are fighting to stop them. Here are some details worth contemplating: • A viral video suggests that it depicts lasers setting fires to Maui... is actually a video of a transformer exploding in Chile. • The head of the Maui Emergency Management resigned just one day after he defended his decision of not deploying evacuation sirens. • Cell communications went down. • While the fires were raging, the water supply was turned off, leaving residents and firefighters unable to save businesses, homes, and lives. • Citizen-chartered boats on course to rescue residents were turned away. • Maui’s Police Chief also oversaw the controversial Las Vegas massacre in 2017. • President Biden offered only $700 in emergency assistance per Maui household the same week he allocated another 24 billion dollars to Ukraine. • The World Economic Forum was spearheading a plan to use Maui as a prototype for AI-controlled clean energy. • In January 2023, a conference held in Maui focused on transforming the entire island into a “15-minute smart city.” • Real estate developers have been pushing hard to acquire Lahaina.
