And with every woman you ask yourself, am I the next one ?
We're simply in danger at every moment for simply existing, I take everything that these women have faced personally, because it is actually personal, it could've been so easily me, or any other women.
No one is safe and free, until everyone is.
Repost from for an epiphany
I have to admit I am scared
I am scared of the shape the public opinion took when she died
I am scared of the men who cannot bear the sight of women in their surroundings
I carry this fear, and move forward, I try not to let it get the best of me, that is all I can do, and I hope it's enough. I hope we get to live, and get the salvation we seek
فلا تأكلن ما أخرج الماء ظالمًا ولا تبغِ
قوتًا من غريض الذبائح
ولا تفجعن الطير وهي غوافل بما
وضعت فالظلم شرُّ القبائح

We must all believe, that every creature around us lives with us, not for us.
We must all believe, that every creature around us lives with us, not for us.
Getting into marine animals lately and I'm filled with happiness learning about them and watching their wonders, yet sad and even ashamed of the cruelty of some humans towards them, through history and until this moment, some humans act as if these beautiful creatures are soulless and doesn't feel pain or sadness.
Humpback whales are known for helping others species when they're at risks, interfering with orcas - Apex predators of the ocean- to save seals, sea lions and even fish from their attack, and they get nothing in return.
I watched a story for a woman who believes she was saved from a shark by a humpback whale, it suddenly pushed into her to lift her on its back, it returned her to her boat safely, and then left.
Almost a year ago it came back, which is so rare but the she recognised it, he played with her, let her lay down on his back as she tried to hug the magnificent creature..
It is known, that helping another being is just a selfish act, it is done to feel good about oneself, yet I wondered, what did this gentle whale thought when it saved a human being? How it felt and why did it risk its own life to save a creature that's almost an alien to it ?
I can only think it is the most pure act of love and kindness we could ever observe.
