2. neurohypophysis : inferior hypophyseal from CAVERNNOUS part of internal carotid

يعنى بتخليك تزعق وافتكر ان النيرف بتاعها external عشان انت بتزعق لبرا 🤕

💗Islets of langerhans starts to secrete insulin and glucagon at the 5th month
💗 Thyroid gland ; develops as an endodermal thickening at the apex of the sulcus terminalis btn tuberculum impar and copula at the 3rd week of gestation
💗thyroid diverticulum originates btn the 1st and 2nd pharyngeal pouches and elongates to form the thyroglossal duct .
💗 By the 7th week →thyroid gland reaches its final position in relation to the larynx and trachea
💗 Fate of the thyroglossal duct:
•upper end →foramen caecum (as an indication for the site of origin of thyroid diverticulum)
•middle part→degenerates
•lower end →pyramidal lobe and levator glandulae thyroidae.
💗 Agenesis of the thyroid gland is the commonest cause of cretinism.
💗 Lingual thyroid is the commonest form of incomplete descent.
💗 superior parathyroid gland; develops from 4th pharyngeal pouch
💗 inferior parathyroid gland; develops from 3rd pharyngeal pouch

💗foetal cortex arise from the coelamic epithelial cells btn the mesentery of the gut medially and urogenital fold laterally
