SDF General Commander Mazlum Abdi made significant statements on the anniversary of the July 19 Rojava Revolution: "Today, we are entering a new phase. Military and administrative institutions—including the SDF and the Autonomous Administration—may undergo changes, but this revolution will continue in new forms." "The new Syria is the result of the struggle of all Syrians, including the Kurdish people and the diverse components fighting within the ranks of the SDF and the Autonomous Administration."

On the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the July 19 Revolution, SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi made important remarks. The Rojava Revolution was a democratic revolution that encompassed all the peoples of the region, embodied by the Kurdish people.

The IRGC has overnight and this morning launched a series of attacks against the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan. The first wave of attacks was aimed at Hawler (Erbil) - several drones were launched to strike sites of the US military within the KRG; the drones were intercepted. Then this morning, the IRGC launched an attack on a camp of the Komala south of Slemani city. 8 Peshmerga of the Komala have been martyred, 13 others are wounded and at least 1 Peshmerga has succumbed to his wounds. This marks a major escalation in the attacks by the IRGC against Kurdish forces from Rojhelat. The IRGC has again implemented its strategy of units that operate autonomously - pre designated sites are being struck at will, without orders from the IRGC command structure. These units use drones from hidden storage sites.

🚨URGENT Iran targeted Komala in Sulaymaniyah! Komala (Organization of Revolutionary Toilers of Iranian Kurdistan) announced that 8 of its Peshmerga fighters were killed and others were wounded in missile attacks carried out in Sulaymaniyah this morning. A further 10 to 11 fighters from other Iranian Kurdish groups have been killed in several previous attacks since the war began.

A verdict has been issued in the case against Hussein Mohammad, who was abducted for ransom by factions of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in 2022 from the city of Serêkaniyê in North and East Syria. After failing to obtain a ransom, the armed group handed him over to Turkey, where he has stood trial since. The case, which was based on the FSA’s allegations, was retried before the 2nd High Criminal Court in Urfa after the Court of Cassation overturned the previous ruling. During the retrial, Hussein Mohammad was recognized as being under the age of 18. The court rejected the defense lawyers’ requests for further examination of the evidence and found Mohammad responsible for the deaths of three Turkish soldiers, sentencing him to four separate prison terms of 20 years each, totaling 80 years in prison.

US secretary of War Hegseth has stated that the USA intends to withdraw from Iraq by September 30th - it is not clear wether or not the US forces in the autonomous region of Kurdistan will remain.
