Propelled by the global cotton trade and inventions like steam power, it became a powerhouse of wealth and innovation before successfully reinventing itself in the 21st century as a modern city.
Each tour lasts roughly between 3-1/2 to 4 hours (or more) and will include several pubs
Prices: Β£20 per person (for over 18s),

The History and Fate of the Briggens House Estate
For centuries, Briggens house, on the Briggens Estate, has stood as a prime example of high culture and architectural splendour. Its history is as extensive as it is fascinating, which is why some of it is covered in this video. On a (very) warm, sunny day, we took a trip to this beautiful spot that sits in the picturesque countryside between #Essex and #Hertfordshire, not only talk about what it's seen and been through, but its potential fate.

Hating the Window Tax is one of the Original Hatreds for Modernism; it was essentially the same in function as taxing sunlight and ventilation!

This is completely different from my last Westminster tour which focused on the Strand. On this tour, we will explore some of picturesque, and of course, historic parts of Westminster around Parliament Square, Whitehall, and St James's Park.
Each tour will last roughly between 3-1/2 to 4 hours (or more) and will include several pubs that we will both visit and pass. We will be visiting some of #London's most famous and impressive locations, and of course, pubs, whilst venturing into various historical epochs. If you need to leave early, then please let me know at the time, and I'll direct you.
