The Manners of the Salaf: A man insulted al-Imam Wakee' رحمه الله & he didn't respond. So it was said to him: "Will you not respond (to the one who insulted you)?" He said: Why then have we learnt (Islamic) knowledge?" [Rawdhatu-Ul’uqalaa 166]

Sahl Ibn Abdillah At-Tustari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Not everyone who performs acts of obedience becomes beloved to Allah; however the one who stays away from what Allah prohibited becomes beloved to Allah. & no one refrains from sins except the exceptionally truthful person who Allah has drawn close to him; as for actions of righteousness they are done by (both) the righteous & the rebellious sinner.” [Sifatu-Safwa 2/272].

The Messenger of Allah said: “Whosoever hangs a talisman has indeed committed shirk.” [Saheeh Al-Jami’ 6394]. & He said صلى الله عليه وسلم: “Whosoever attaches (his heart to) anything will be entrusted to it.”* [Saheeh At-Tirmithi 2072]. *Meaning Allah will leave him to it & abandon him. As for the one who attaches his hopes in Allah then He will ease his affairs & take care of his needs: “And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him” [65:03].

The Rights Of Brotherhood The Noble Shaykh Saalih Aal Ash-Shaykh (may Allah preserve him) mentioned some of the rights of brotherhood: The first right: That he loves his brother for the sake of Allah and not for a worldly motive. The second right: That the brother puts forward financial and physical aid for his brother. The third right: The preserving of honor. There are outward (actions that one does) for the fulfillment of this right: being quiet, not mentioning the faults (of your brother), and not getting detailed with him when you ask a question. Preserve his secrets. The fourth right: Keep away from having bad thought about your brother. The fifth right: Keeping away from arguing and debating with your brothers. There are reasons for argumentation: he outwardly displays that he has not submitted to the point of view (of his brother); having the desire to be victorious (over his brother); not being careful regarding the slips of the tongue. The sixth right: Using the tongue for (aid) of you brother. This are outward (signs for it): don’t be stingy with your tongue; thanking him for that which he put forth (of good); that you mention him in a good manner outside of his presence. The seventh right: Pardoning of the mistakes. The eighth right: Being happy with that which Allah has given him of wealth, knowledge, religion, and uprightness. The ninth right. That there be mutual cooperation between you and your brother in that which is good and upright. The tenth right: That there should be between the companions of the more intimate brotherhood both counsel (with one another) and harmony. 🔴 المحافظة على تسوية الصفوف 🟤 عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رضي الله عنه ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «أَقِـيـمـُوا الصُّـفـُـوفَ، فَـإِنـَّمـَا تَـصـُفُّـونَ بـِصـُفُـوفِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَحَاذُوا بَيْنَ الْمَنَاكِبِ، وَسُدُّوا الْخَلَلَ، وَلِينُوا فِي أَيْدِي إِخْوَانِكُمْ، وَلَا تَذَرُوا فُرُجَاتٍ لِلشَّيْطَانِ، وَمَنْ وَصَلَ صَفًّا، وَصَلَهُ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى، وَمَنْ قَطَعَ صَفًّا قَطَعَهُ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى». 🟠 #رواه_أحمد «5724» ، #رواه_أبو_داود «666»
