Another explanatory video to understand slopes. Check it out and comment if you've got any questions.
From the above video, it's important to note;
Gradient - is a measure of the steepness of a slope. It's calculate by the ratio of the change in y to the change in x.
The greater the gradient, the steeper the slope, vice versa.

Now let's solve a quadratic equation using the quadratic formula. π The easiest and shortest method.
Alright! Hi guys!
Let's complete some more squares π.
I encourage you to take your own paper and practice alongside the video. Any questions write in the comments.
This is the geometric picture of completing the square: as you can see it's literally "completing the square" as in adding a piece 𧩠to the existing shape inorder to make into a square.
What is to 'solve a quadratic equation'?
To solve a quadratic equations means to find the roots of x for which the equation it true. For example;
xΒ²-4=0
Inorder to find the values of x for which this equation is true, we muct solve the equation. There are 4 ways to solve a quadratic equation namely
a) factorisation
b) using the quadratic formula
c) completing the square
d) graphical method.
Let look at them one by one π
Do you know about the quadratic formula? The same was used to calculate the roots of the above equation.
