Google begins phasing out "legacy" mode in the Play Integrity API today, May 21, 2025, as previously announced From now on, devices running Android 13 or higher must use hardware-backed integrity checks, such as Android Platform Key Attestation to meet the "strong integrity" standard. This change is aimed at strengthening the Android ecosystem’s security, making it harder to bypass app protections, especially in sensitive areas like payments and online gaming. However, older devices and those running custom ROMs may face limitations due to the stricter requirements. If there’s anything noteworthy, like the new QS, I’m considering making a build for the RN8 for you to test. I’ve been testing Beta 1, but I decided to wait for the second beta. Alright?
