"When a thing has served its purpose, it will go away. If you try to hold on to something that has already fulfilled its purpose in your life, you are going to hurt yourself. If holding on is disturbing your peace of mind, it makes sense to let go. Surrender all attachments to people and things that you have been struggling to hold on to."

Luke Coutinho is one of those figures in my life who taught me simple ways to live a life. Always looked up to him. I remember when he was not THAT big of a social media figure and I was having some sort of hormonal imbalance and doctor said I'll have to go through months of medications. I discussed the issue with him and the solution to the problem he gave to me was really simple. I implemented it. Got it fixed. Without a single medicine. (Sadly, he don't reply personally now. He has hired a team) Whoever is interested in treating ownself with a simple lifestyle change can check out his content. And fans like me can get a copy of his book! Amazing read man

Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.

Women in their 30s look at women in their 20s the same way poor men look at rich men. Nature is kind to women. Time is kind to men.

As you go through life you'll discover that more and more subjects you read in college are useless the only thing that helps most of the time in life is psychology. Read more of psychological shit.

Having served on various committees, I have drawn up a list of rules: 1. Never arrive on time; this stamps you as a beginner. 2. Don’t say anything until the meeting is half over; this stamps you as being wise. 3. Be as vague as possible; this avoids irritating the others. 4. When in doubt, suggest that a subcommittee be appointed. 5. Be the first one to move for adjournment; this will make you popular; it’s what everyone is waiting for.

if you're able to acknowledge that you did something wrong and also realize that not everything wrong is your fault, that is power.

The soul always knows what to do to heal itself, the challenge is to silence the mind.

Not many people talk about how deep emotional neglect hurts you. I’m afraid to want things. I’m afraid to ask for help. I’m afraid to tell someone something if they seem in a bad mood. I can’t process when someone is nice to me. I can’t handle rejection, but my brain literally short circuits if someone gives me a compliment to the point where sometimes the rejection is better. There are lots of overlap with emotional abuse, but emotional neglect hurts just as much. And it’s even worse that it usually goes undetected, so a lot of people can’t tell they’re being neglected until it’s too late.

Life becomes beautiful when you're sleeping, eating and moving right.

You know you're healing when you start getting happy for people who once hurt you.

the idea "if they wanted to talk they would have reached out first," destroys a lot of friendships. part of being an adult is not having the amount of time you used to, that enabled you to chitchat and hangout with your friends whenever you want. also, not all of us cope the same. some people, when emotionally struggling, tend to isolate from people. some fear reaching out, some fear of judgment when opening up. we're all different. but that doesn't mean we deserve to be alone. just don't assume that your friends would've reached out already. just reach out. reach out more. extend your arms so you can reach those who are far deep in the dark. β€”t.p.

True art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.
