I genuinely lost my capacity to hate after converting to Catholicism. Basically, If truth exists, how can you not just feel sorry for anyone ignorant of it? and feel even worse for those who are militantly against it? That doesn't mean you don't have to defend the truth — you do — it just means that hate isn't the accurate response to those suffering in such a way.
How can you not just feel sorry for all of these people? Even when they attack you directly, It's like: yo, dude, you are way out of pocket, how on earth did you end up this way? Wtf is going on with you? You doing ok my bro?
Its hard out there all around, and that includes, maybe even particularly, those who are making it hard out there.
