I’m reflecting on how grateful I am to have Nick as a friend. He’s gone out of his way to look out for me when he really didn’t have to. Despite being constantly defamed, he regularly shows genuine concern for those around him. But it goes far beyond my personal friendship with him. What Nick has created is more than just a political movement, which is why it has and will continue to outlive petty scheming. He has created a huge network of highly driven Christians that care for one another. You can’t destroy that. If there is one thing that can be said about Nick, it’s that he has brought together more people than any of his detractors ever will. Proverbs 18:24 — A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
