Floating 1500$ , patience pays

Whether this trade plays out or not, it will still go down as one of the best trades I’ve taken this year. Not because of the PnL, but because of the lessons it carried. It tested my patience. It tested my desire to trade. It tested my strength to stick to my analysis and trust my process. I spotted this setup last week, but I chose to wait. Today, my pending orders finally got triggered. In between, there were so many moments where I felt like deleting them and chasing short-term trades instead. But I kept reminding myself: I’m not here to chase after PnL .I’m here to become a disciplined trader. A lot of the setups I saw in between weren’t even aligned with my backtested rules for US30. The old me would’ve jumped in. But this time, I didn’t. I had to remind myself what I’m really working towards. So here’s my message to you: If you want to be great in this game, remove the mindset of chasing profits and focus on building discipline. Stick to your rules. Respect your setups. Find fulfilment in that. Because that’s the real path to becoming a consistently profitable trader.

Got missed by a few pips then price flew straight to my TP , it happens . I’m closing the charts for now ,and deleting all pending orders .I’ll check out us30 an hour before NY session and see if we can get a few entries . Watch out for updates.

Sl hit on both positions , but the total loss is still 1% so I’m done for the day . For the week we back to break even

So this basically means that even if I take two positions or more in a day I will never lose more than 1% in that day

Took my first trade today entered two positions with a total sl being 250$(1% ) One trade being 100$ and the other being 150$ Keep in mind that we keep the same risk amount everyday , hence we don’t lose or blow the account . So if you planning on passing an account or growing it, I advice you use the same risk management strategy , of having a certain percentage that you are willing to lose , also the number of trades you are willing to take regardless of whether you lost that amount or not 🙏🏼 Let’s see how this trade plays out , more updates will be given through out the day , so make sure you didn’t mute the page.
