I know I don’t normally post things like this but I’m completely heartbroken that he’s gone. He passed at 8 years 10 months at 5:11 am today. I barely go on trips, I got invited to go to Cali and I was staying for only 3 days. The babysitter wasn’t watching the animals when it happened because she was vacuuming the cats room. Nobody knows that happened or saw but she heard the dogs barking and went to the front door to see Fluffy on his back frozen. Gambino attacked fluffy and drew blood. I was in LA and panicking because I couldn’t do anything other than pay 5k for the surgery. I was told the first doctor told me he would be completely fine he only needed a cast and that he would be be an home in a matter of a few days. Turned out after the surgery there were signs that when Gambino bit him he shook fluffy causing his kidneys to shut down, leading to his death. Im absolutely devastated, I trained Gambino since the day I got him at 11 months, professional trainers and schools. Gambino never showed signs of aggression. I got him as a small puppy, this doesn’t seem real. I feel like this is all a bad dream, all I know is that I shouldn’t have gone on that trip to LA, my cat would still be alive right now. It’s just completely out of character for Gambino, he used to play with the cats, I’m just so angry because at the end of the day it’s avoidable.
