🚀 AASTU Tech Fest 2025: Learn, Build, Collaborate, Connect

On May 7, 2025, GDG On Campus AASTU successfully wrapped up the chapter-closing event, AASTU Tech Fest 2025—a powerful gathering of students, startups, researchers, and tech leaders.

🗣 Inspiring Keynotes: The event began with a speech from our Lead, Biruk Mesfin, sharing the purpose behind the fest and to keep learning and building. 👨‍💻 Community Project Showcase: We launched the AASTU Navigation Map, an impactful solution created by our community to help people find their way around the campus. 🏢 Startup Showcases: Innovative solutions like Zemenu showed how tech can transform everyday experiences and solve real problems. 💬 Networking Opportunities: Students, professionals, and guests met, connected, and explored ways to work together in the future. 💼 Career Fair: Top tech companies showcased what they do and offered students a closer look at career paths beyond the classroom. 📽 CGI Animations: Attendees enjoyed visually stunning CGI animations created by students from CGI AASTU.

Our Hackathon Showcase was a testament to the problem-solving mindset at AASTU. Graduates of our GDG Study Sessions demoed their live impactful prototypes and projects—proof that learning and building go hand in hand.

Before the event, we have some essential information to share with you to enhance your experience during the fest. ⚠️ The event is open for everyone, its not necessary for only AASTU students. ✨Attendance Details: 🪪 Identification: Please carry a valid ID for identification purposes upon entry. NO ID means, NO entry to the event. 📍Venue: AASTU's New Graduation Hall (New Auditorium), NB: The Event hall is right outside the campus.
