Zimbabwe defaulted on the old paper currency and gave people 3 weeks to switch to the new paper currency, but claim it's gold backed this time.
Unless you can exchange the paper note for a fixed weight of metal, it's not "backed" it's a larp.
If having some gold somewhere in some vault means your paper notes are "gold backed" then the USD and Euro are also gold backed, which they're obviously not.

20 Rates in the US continue to trend upward with the 30-year fixed-rate approaching 7.5%.
The fed is a larp, they just watch rate trends and then create narratives to pretend they are the ones in control of those trends.
If higher rates truly stopped inflation, then the fed should have no excuse to cancel their planned rate cuts in 2024; but now they are scrambling to come up with excuses for why rates are continuing higher.
Interest rates move in long-term cycles, inflation often moves along with interest rates, and the fed is a larp.

21 For anyone worried that they missed the boat during the recent price hikes in the past couple months where Silver got up to $28-$29/oz, there is now a week-long pullback and a rising Gold/Silver Ratio approaching 88.
It's not quite the same as buying Silver in the low 20's (at cost), but it's still a major bargain and historically undervalued.

The fed is a larp, they just look at market trends and invent narratives to make people think they are in control.... but they are not in control.
You must take control by possessing real physical assets, not pieces of paper or numbers on a screen.
The years ago, interest rates completed a 40-year down cycle where stocks and real estate outperformed metals; and rates are now in a longterm up cycle where metals will outperform stocks and real estate.
