Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“Everything around you is a witness for you, when you engage in the remembrance of Allāh,
The land, the mountains and the ground will testify for you on the Day of Judgement…
Increase those witnesses for yourself for that day.”
[الوابل الصيب ٨١]
Repost from Islamic Reflection🌹
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله :
There is no honor for one’s soul except with submission to Allah, no glory except with subservience (to Allah), no comfort except with weariness (for the sake of Allah), no satiation except with hunger (for the sake of Allah i.e. Fasting), no security except with fear (of Allah), no pleasure except with feeling alienated from everything but its Creator, and no life except with death.
[ Al-Fawaid, pg. 106]
Dua does change qadr keep that belief so strong in your heart. Your tawakkul has to be sky high, and believe me we all have our low moments, moments where we even find it hard to trust Allah’s plans and the duas we make. We’re only human & it’s okay. You will have your low days but on your lowest days, make wudhu and sit on the prayer mat even if you can’t utter the words Allah knows. Think of Allah as He is, isn’t He the most merciful? You beautiful soul, I promise better days are coming for you. These trials and tests and helping you attain a certain level of Jannah.🌷
The Virtue of Friday:
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله
"Friday is the day of worship, its comparison to other days like the comparison of the month of Ramadan to other months and the hour in it is like the Night of Decree in Ramadan."
[Zaad Al-Ma’aad | 1398]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"Your soul is just like your enemy,
once it finds you serious, it obeys you.
If it finds weakness from you, it will take you as a prisoner."
[Badā'i Al-Fawā'id | Vol. 3, Pg. 1202]
Keep knocking on the door of Allah. Especially when something is considered impossible. You aren't asking just anybody. You're asking the Master of Miracles, The Most Loving, The Most Generous, The most Powerful and the Most Merciful. You're asking the One who has your heart in His hands. You're asking Allah. So the next time you raise your hands and make Dua, remember that. Remember He already knows what you want and the more you ask, the more you will get.🌷
Ibn Al-Jawzī رحمه الله said:
“I urge you to follow the lives of the early scholars, read their books and stories because the more you read from them, the more you will be able to see them.
As someone said:
‘I could not see the lands with my eyes
maybe I can see them with my ears.’”
[Captured Thoughts by Ibn Al-Jawzī رحمه الله pg. 937]
قال إمام دار الهجرة مالك بن أنس رحمه الله:
"إن هذا العلم هو احمك ودمك وعنه تسأل يوم القيامة فانظر عمن تأخذه."

"Indeed this knowledge is your flesh and blood, on the Day of Judgement you'll be asked about it. Therefore, look to whom you take (knowledge) from."
