Yesterday, I expressed some uncomfortable feelings to my closest friends. I share about my needs that didn’t feel fulfilled. Expressing who I truly am, fully and without masks, is how I want to grow. It is, for me, the best way to grow to unlock deeper levels of intimacy and connection. I wouldn’t have dared to do that before because of the fear of losing those people. I would resent, people-please, pretend.. I am not here for surface level connections. I value depth. And depth requires courage and sovereignty. I am here to give who I am, authentically and fully, without lies, without hidden games. Some won’t be ready to face and accept their shadows. Don’t expect them to love yours. That’s ok. We don’t go at the same pace. Let those people go if they are not ready for your authenticity. Share what you feel. Share your needs. See the other’s person perspective. Take ownership. A Prayer for the Healing of all men and may this prayer bring strength, peace, and healing to the men in our families, communities and throughout the world. Great Spirit, Divine Creator, Source of All Life, We call forth blessings for the men of this world. May their hearts be healed from wounds carried in silence, from burdens passed through generations, from the belief that strength requires suffering alone. May they remember who they truly are— protectors without hardness, leaders without domination, warriors guided by wisdom, and fathers of compassion, whether by blood or by spirit. Bless the men who are weary. Bless the men who are searching. Bless the men who have forgotten their worth. Bless the men who carry grief behind their smiles. May healing light flow through their bodies, their minds, their emotions, and their souls. May old fears dissolve. May shame be transformed into self-respect. May anger be transformed into courage. May loneliness be transformed into connection. May they stand rooted like ancient trees, strong enough to bend with life's winds, yet steadfast in their truth.
