Case Study #18: XAUUSD | 7 October 2025 This case study is for the educational purpose of observing price behaviour as it retraces into a potential area of resistance. 🏷🏷Reference Areas 🔹️️️️️️ Primary Resistance Zone: The area of observation is the shaded supply zone between approximately $3,963.26 and $3,969.32. 🔹️️️️️️ Technical Confluence: This potential supply zone aligns with the 61.8% - 78.6% Fibonacci retracement of the prior bearish impulse, creating a well-defined area of technical interest. 🔹️️️️️️ Reference Levels for Observation: We will note price behaviour if it approaches $3,940.44 and $3,926.66. These levels are mapped to observe the potential strength of any bearish continuation. 🏷🏷Monitoring Threshold The monitoring threshold for this study is at $3,977.52. A sustained price movement above this level would suggest that the supply zone has failed to act as resistance, thus invalidating the bearish premise of this particular study. 🏷🏷Objective The primary objective is to study the market's reaction to a potential supply zone that is reinforced by Fibonacci confluence. After a significant downward move, price has retraced, offering an opportunity to observe whether this area will act as resistance and lead to a potential continuation of bearish momentum. We will pay particular attention to this behaviour during the upcoming New York trading session, which is typically a period of high liquidity and volatility.

Case Study #16 – Update & Recap (XAUUSD | 3 October 2025) This post will serve as the final recap for this case study, documenting the successful observation and the key technical lessons demonstrated. 🏷🏷Recap of the Setup: The objective of this study was to observe the market's reaction from a key support zone, which featured a confluence of a Minor RBS, a new demand area, and several Fibonacci levels. The premise was to see if the prior bearish momentum was exhausted, leading to a retracement. 🏷🏷What Happened: As the chart illustrates, price entered the primary support zone (approx. $3,841 - $3,828) where a bullish reaction occurred. The subsequent upward momentum was significant, carrying price through both the first reference level ($3,854.38) and the second reference level ($3,873.67). The price movement from the demand zone to the high was over 460 pips. 🏷🏷Key Notes & Lessons Learned: 🔹️️️️️️ The Significance of Confluence: This case study is a practical example of how a zone with multiple, overlapping technical factors (RBS, demand, Fibonacci) can create a strong area of interest. When several analytical reasons align, it can increase the probability of a reaction. 🔹️️️️️️ From Trend Exhaustion to Retracement: The initial objective was to observe a potential retracement following a bearish move that showed signs of exhaustion. The strong reversal from the support zone demonstrates this concept in action, illustrating how a corrective phase can begin. 🔹️️️️️️ The Utility of Reference Points: The mapped reference levels fulfilled their purpose by providing clear benchmarks to gauge the strength of the price reaction. Reaching both levels confirms the study's premise was validated and provides a logical conclusion to this observation.

Case Study #12 Addendum: The Impact of PCE Data | 27 September 2025 Following our final recap where we concluded the study due to slowing momentum, the flagged PCE news event has injected significant volatility into the market, providing a powerful continuation of our study. 🏷🏷What Happened: 🔹️️ As noted on the chart, the Personal Consumption Expenditure (PCE) data was released at a lower value than the previous reading. 🔹️️ Following this news, XAUUSD exhibited strong bullish momentum, breaking out of the consolidation range it was in. 🔹️️ This renewed momentum pushed the price decisively above the reference level of $3,765.27. 🏷🏷Educational Analysis & Key Lesson: This event is a textbook example of how a high-impact fundamental catalyst can resolve market indecision. The PCE Price Index is a key inflation measure. A lower-than-expected reading can lead the market to anticipate that the central bank may ease its tight monetary policy. This perception is often bullish for non-yielding assets like Gold and can be bearish for the US Dollar. The main takeaway here is observing the direct impact of a fundamental data release on a technical setup. While the initial momentum had faded, the underlying demand structure we studied was still valid. The news acted as the catalyst needed to complete the move. This provides a valuable and complete picture for Case Study #12.

Case Study #12 Final Update: XAUUSD | 26 September 2025 The study provided a clear reaction from the demand zone, and we are now closing the observation based on the latest price developments. 🏷🏷Recap of the Study's Progression: The study began by observing a demand zone between $3,724.21 and $3,733.09. As anticipated in the study, the price entered this zone and found support. A significant bullish reaction followed, with the price rallying to a high of approximately $3,755. Since reaching that high, the upward momentum appears to have slowed. 🏷🏷Conclusion & Key Learning Points: Given the considerable move that has already occurred and the observed decrease in momentum, we are concluding this case study. This is an important lesson: a study can conclude not just by hitting a pre-defined level, but also when price action suggests the initial phase of the move is complete. 📌 For members who wish to continue observing this area for their own educational purposes, the key question remains whether the price will gather new momentum to test the $3,765.27 reference level or begin a deeper pullback.

Case Study #12: XAUUSD | 26 September 2025 The focus of this observation will be on a well-defined demand zone that price is currently approaching. 🏷🏷Reference Areas: 🔹️️️️️️ Support Zone (Demand): $3,724.21 – $3,733.09. This area represents a zone of demand where price consolidated before a previous strong upward move. 🔹️️️️️️ Reference Level for Observation: $3,765.27. This level is noted to observe a potential bullish reaction should the demand zone hold. 🔹️️️️️️ Monitoring Threshold: $3,717.58. A sustained break below this level would suggest that the demand zone has failed, invalidating the premise of this study. 🏷🏷Objective: The objective of this case study is to observe how price reacts upon returning to a previously established demand zone. We will monitor to see if the buying interest that was present in this area re-emerges to provide support for the price.

Case Study #8 Final Update (Part 3): XAUUSD | 23 September 2025 🔠🔠🔠🔠🔠🔠🔠🔠🔠 Here’s the concise recap of our successful Case Study #8. The price moved perfectly from our support confluence area to the final reference level, offering some excellent lessons. 🏷🏷Key Takeaways: 🔹️️ Structure Was the Clue: The most important observation was how the price failed to make a new low after its initial bounce from the support zone. This failure to break down was the indicator that a break to the upside was likely. 🔹️️ The Threshold Held: The study's premise remained valid throughout because the price respected the Monitoring Threshold at $3,708.71. This is a key lesson: the invalidation level is just as important as the entry zone. 🔹️️ The Full Journey: The price action followed the technical premise perfectly: it tested support, consolidated without making a new low, and then broke out to hit both observation levels at $3,732.44 and $3,737.45. This was a fantastic study on the importance of market structure. Thank you for following along. ❤️

Case Study #6 – Outcome After FOMC (18 Sept 2025) BEFORE & AFTER 🔥 Summary of Events 🔍 🔹 During the FOMC release (2 AM MYT, 18 Sept 2025), price spiked sharply, retested the lower demand area, then climbed to Target 1 (3,703.24). 🔹 After tagging Target 1, price quickly reversed and fell through the mapped demand zone. Key Lessons 🎓 1. Fundamental catalysts (like FOMC rate announcements) can cause volatility that overrides technical setups. 2. Even when a target is hit, continuation isn’t guaranteed — reaction strength and follow-through are separate things. 3. Once price breaks below a demand zone, the original idea is invalid and should be considered complete. Takeaway 📝 🔹 Technical + fundamental timing can add insight, but always assume news may invalidate a plan fast. 🔹 Case studies are meant to observe behaviour, not to predict or give instructions.

Case Study #6: XAUUSD (17 Sept 2025) Tonight’s FOMC statement (2:00 AM MYT, 18 Sept) gives us a chance to study how high-impact news can interact with technical zones. Context of this case study 🔹 Price has responded at a demand area near 3,672.93 – 3,668.21. 🔹 A reference level sits at 3,703.24 (potential upside if momentum continues). 🔹 Market talk suggests the Fed may lower rates, which historically can support gold — but reactions to policy news are often sharp and short-lived. Learning focus How price behaves around major announcements: does it extend toward mapped levels or return quickly after the first reaction? Risk / Probability note This observation is rated medium-to-high risk because: 🔹 The analysis depends on an external catalyst (FOMC). 🔹 Large moves can reverse once volatility settles. Key takeaway for learners 🔹 Big events often create quick spikes and retracements. 🔹 Patience and measured expectations are essential: news-driven flows don’t always sustain beyond the first candle.

Case Study #5 – Full Recap (16 Sept 2025) BEFORE & AFTER 🔥 Initial context 🔍 Price created a demand zone at 3,687.20 – 3,682.65 after a strong move up. From there, we watched for a possible continuation toward 3,704.227 (Target 1) while monitoring 3,677.115 as the level that would end this observation. Outcome so far 🧐 After a few hours, price reacted well at the mapped zone and climbed around +175 pips, peaking at 3,703.24 — slightly under Target 1. 🎓 Learning point: The market doesn’t always reach every projected level. Capturing an initial 1 : 1 risk-reward can sometimes be more realistic than holding for full extensions. Current status The setup remains active because price hasn’t touched the monitoring threshold. Future observations from here would carry higher risk and lower probability since the first reaction has already played out.

Case Study #5: XAUUSD (16 Sept 2025) Reference Points 🔹 Demand zone created at 3,687.20 – 3,682.65 🔹 Monitoring threshold: 3,677.115 🔹 Reference level to observe if price maintains upward momentum: 3,704.227 (Target 1) Objective To review how recently-formed demand areas can influence price behaviour in an ongoing bullish context. This study explores whether strength in a newly-created zone may allow price to attempt “one more leg” toward the next reference level. Observation At present, price is consolidating above the area where demand was recorded. The key question is whether this base can support continuation, or if a decisive move below the monitoring threshold would end the scenario.

Case Study #4 – Update (XAUUSD | 15 Sept 2025) BEFORE & AFTER 🔥 After a full day of steady movement, price finally reached and surpassed Target 1. Following a second retest in that area, the market extended further, adding ~240pips beyond the reference level. Key takeaways so far: 🔹 Total reaction from the “Liquidity Pool + Demand Creation” area to the latest high is around +542pips. 🔹 The sequence shows how demand zones and layered targets can help map out potential price behaviour. 🔹 Even with a strong push upward, we should avoid assuming an unlimited continuation. Upcoming macro news — especially the FOMC rate decision (18 Sept, 2 AM MYT) — may affect volatility and direction.
