ferocious - horrific, ruthless
state of the art - highest level of development
high rises - tall buildings
contemporary - modern
mode of transportation - means by which to travel (car, bus, train etc)
implementation - organizing or arranging
hazardous - dangerous
detrimental - something that cases harm, harmful
insurmountable - extremely difficult to overcome
In what way has the modern technology impacted the environment?
I certainly think that in an attempt to improve the standard of living, the humanity has had a ferociously negative impact towards ecology.
To be more specific, because of industrial revolution, we now have a much better infrastructure with state of the art constructions like skyscrapers, high rises and multifunctional facilities, not to even mention contemporary modes of transportation, like electric cars, bullet trains, and even reactive airplanes, just to name a few.
And of course, the implementation of such pieces of technology causes an insurmountable amount of hazardous emissions into the atmosphere, which not only is detrimental to the environment itself, but also to the human health. So the impact is genuinely catastrophic.

These Eminem lines are so relatable, y'all don't even know:
Rocky Balboa, never been no towel thrower
Even when I got kicked to the curb
Life knocked my dick in the dirt
I got back up, flipped it the bird
'Til I earned the attention I yearned
Not to mention, I learned
How to turn resentment and hurt to an unquenchable thirst
The provided line graph gives information on the number of claims an airline company recived through 3 different ways in the course of 6 months, January through June.
Looking from an overall perspective it is clear that, personal appeals and the ones made by telephone went up considerably, while the letter complaints had a downward tendency throughout the entire span.
In detail, the number of complaints received through phone declined to 800 in February before experiencing a noticeable growth by 200 complaints for the next two months. Soon, the figure skyrocketed, reaching a whopping 1600 mark towards the end.
As far as the other figures are concerned, the amount of letter or email claims had gone through the period of rapid dip from a little below 800 to almost 400 complaints before May, after which the index stood at this rate until the very end. Whereas, the demand for in person complaints kept the growing pattern over the whole period, starting at just over 400 and climbing dramatically to around 1900 claims in the last month.

I cannot stress this enough!
Should wealthy nations be responsible for providing aid to developing countries?
There is a necessity for financially developed countries to shoulder the responsibility of supporting the poor states. I believe that it is only fair, since states with high morals and living standards can not only back those in a vulnerable situation up financially but also morally.
First of all, a number of countries around the globe cannot sustain the economic stress on major industries on their own due to lack of proper funding. Therefore, wealthy countries should step in and provide monetary support for the construction and maintenance of municipal facilities as well as contribute to raising the overall economical state of poorer nations. This way, less developed countries can establish the equilibrium between wealth and social wellbeing for their motherland. For example, with adequate financing from richer parties, the third world nations will be able to offer jobs with higher salaries and boost their industrial potential. All in all, foreign investment is the key for finding financial stability.
Second of all, developed countries should provide poor nations with moral as well as educational support encouraging them to prosper. Offering words of encouragement is a fundamental part in creating right atmosphere for a developing community to become inspired and make a valiant effort to improve independently. Furthermore, sharing knowledge and expertise in crucial areas of human endeavour like medicine and computer science would not only give the individuals of less privileged societies the necessary information but also valid experience. Hence, they can build up a proper educational system, taking a huge step forward to becoming an adavnced nation. That is why it is equally as important.
To conclude, affluent nations should have the accountability to aid their developing friends both financially and morally to help them thrive and make their mark upon the world.
