Vocab: Ozone layer depletion: The gradual thinning of the ozone layer in the Earth's atmosphere Valid Question - well-grounded and based on facts Cosmos - Space Resolve - solve or settle Unbearable degree - impossible or difficult to sustain Exposed to - impacted by, or open to a threat of something Home soil - home land, soil - the upper layer of Earth's crust (a little wordplay there😜) Radiation - transmission of energy in the form of waves, such as gamma rays Unless (if not) Bottleneck - Obstruction or obstacle

Should governments invest more in Space exploration πŸš€ 🌌 or should they focus on solving issues here on Earth first? 🌎 That's definitely a valid question. As much as I believe that exploring the endless depths of the cosmos is important, resolving the issues here on Earth should be better prioritized. Cuz we have enough problems on our home soil already. We're talking about the possible ozone layer depletion threat, which might heat up the atmosphere to an unbearable degree or get us all exposed to excessive sun radiation. Of course, there are plenty of other problems on top of that, like the issue of overpopulation, which is becoming more and more relevant day by day. So unless we're through with these bottlenecks, I don't think humanity should put too much stress and financial effort on exploring the outer space. by @userjk7
