*GIMS STAFF NURSE RECRUITMENT – IMPORTANT POINTS* *Total vacancies: 100 Staff Nurse posts* 2.Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing + Nursing registration OR GNM + registration + 2 years’ experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital. 1. Age limit: 21–40 years as on 01.07.2026; applicable relaxation as per rules. 2. ⁠UP reservation benefits are available only to eligible UP domicile candidates. 3. OBC/EWS certificate should be issued on/after 01.04.2026 and valid on the last date. 4. Application fee: UR/OBC/EWS ₹1,298; SC/ST ₹944; UP Divyang candidates exempted. 5. ⁠CBT: 100 MCQs = 100 marks. 6. Negative marking: −0.25 mark for every wrong answer; no negative marking for unanswered questions. 7. Paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English); English version is final in case of dispute. 8.Syllabus weightage: 80% theoretical + 20% practical knowledge. 9.Major subjects: Mental Health, Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical, Child Health, Community Health, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Management, etc. 10.Minimum qualifying marks: General/EWS/OBC 40%; SC/ST 35%. 11. Selection: CBT merit → Document/Biometric Verification → Medical Examination. 12. Exam cities: Delhi/NCR, Lucknow, Gorakhpur and Varanasi. 13. ⁠ Hall Ticket must be downloaded from the official GIMS website; it will not be sent by post. 14. Keep the submitted application form and payment proof safely. 15. False information, malpractice or misconduct can lead to cancellation/debarment. 16.
