In a recent sign-of-life publication from Gaza, the 23-year-old captive Hersh Goldberg-Polin stated that Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 70 of his fellow Israeli captives. After the publication of the video, spontaneous protests have sprung up in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Hundreds march down Jerusalem demanding a deal to bring the hostages home now. The international Freedom Flotilla to break the siege on Gaza 🇵🇸 is set to set sail from Turkey to Gaza. The aim is to break Israel's illegal sea blockade and deliver over 500 tonnes of urgently needed humanitarian aid and assistance amid the ongoing siege and genocide. The last Freedom Flotilla that left for Gaza in 2010, The Mavi Marmara, was raided by Israeli soldiers killing 10 of the Flotilla Passengers and injuring 30. @toxaidworker was one of the survivors and aid workers on the previous ship that aimed to break the siege. Today Syria and its free people witnessed the funeral of one of the most important characters in the modern history. The general Mohammad Fares was the first and the only Syrian astronaut, and the second in the Arab world. At the beginning of the protests agaisnt Alassad's regime, general Alfares decided to stand with people in their journey towards freedom. 🇱🇧🇸🇾Lebanese gang have kidnapped a Syrian refugee named Muhammad Imad Al Khalaf along with 4 other Syrian men and are asking for 25k USD for his release. Since their kidnapping they have put them through intense torture and you can hear the brother calling out to his mother for help. This is happening while there are growing tensions in Lebanon between the locals and the Syrian Refugees, many people are being forced to go back to the Asad regime where there fate is most likely torture and death. @liveupdatesfromsyria
