Courtesy Visit by Cambodia Women Entrepreneur Association (CWEA) Phnom Penh, 12 June 2024 - The Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), represented by Chairman, Mr Rath Sophoan, was pleased to receive the courtesy call placed by esteemed partners, Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association (CWEA), led by Vice-Chairlady, Mrs Yu Borey, at ABC’s Secretariat Office. This visit emphasised the ongoing efforts to promote more and effective access to finance to women-owned businesses, capabilities building in bankable projects to empower them with decision-making. The visit concluded on a positive note with both parties expressing optimism in fostering strategic collaborations with, in sights, financial stability, public trust, and a sound & resilient banking system – inclusive and sustainable. "Financial Street" Season 2" was officially launched on June 20, 2024, presided over by Mrs. Mak Reaksmey, Director of the Regulatory Policy and Risk Assessment Department of the National Bank of Cambodia, who represented Her Excellency Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia. Financial Street Season 2 was initiated and co-produced by Apsara Media Services (AMS), the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), the Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), and the Credit Bureau of Cambodia (CBC) under the support of the National Bank of Cambodia.
