Well, nowadays, like many teenagers and students I do not have time to watch television. Instead, I occupy myself with computers and mobile apps. However, from time to time I happen to sit with my family members to have dinner and watch some kind of programs on TV. One of such TV shows is called “Uxlamaysizmi?” or in English “Aren’t you going to sleep?” which is aired on a daily basis on channel called Zo’r TV. Personally, I didn’t find this program appealing at all for several reasons. I watched it about two weeks ago when we visited our grandparents. After the meal, we had a nice conversation while watching TV. This show is an evening show where hosts invite various celebrities mostly singers and have a friendly chat with them. Despite the fact that the talk show holds so much appeal among many people I know, I think it doesn’t deserve the time I spend in front of the screen. There are several reasons. Firstly, the hosts are very talkative and they don’t give a chance the guest to talk much. And mostly they speak in Tashkent dialect. I think on TV everyone should follow basic rules of etiquette speaking literal Uzbek. Also, sometimes they make fun of the guests which puts them in an inconvenient situation. The program lasts about an hour I think, because I didn’t watch it until the end. However, these kinds of programs will actually lower the ranking of the channel, instead of attracting more viewers. It would be better they broadcast some kind of interesting films during that time. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this program to anyone and I wouldn’t watch it again.
