Director Kim Junghoon, who was praised for his sensuous directing skills in <Tinker Ticker> (2014), returns with his first new film in 12 years, <Shave>. The lineup gains added weight with the casting of ITZY’s #Ryujin, Roh Jeongeui, and rising Japanese star Kasamatsu Sho.
Actress Roh Jeongeui, who was the first to confirm her appearance and heighten anticipation, will undergo a bold image transformation in this project. Departing completely from the bright and lovable roles she has shown in romance works, she is set to portray a rough and precarious side of youth, an image 180 degrees different from her past performances.
Joining her, ITZY’s Ryujin co-stars with Roh Jeongeui, solidifying her path as an “idol-turned-actor.” Having built a solid foundation through the film <Night on Earth> attention is now focused on the growth she will showcase as an actress in <Shave>. With the addition of Japanese actor Kasamatsu Sho, who made a strong impression as a villain in Taxi Driver 3, <Shave> has now officially entered full-scale production."
NEW RYUJIN'S ACTING PROJECT
According to reports, RYUJIN will star in the lead role of the new movie Myeondo (면도) with Noh Jeongeui and Kasamatsu Sho.
Shave' is the first new work in 12 years by director Kim Jung-hoon, who was well-received for 'Deeldog' (2014), and it was produced by Star Platinum, which was well-received for the Netflix movie 'Good News' released in October last year.
Myeondo has recently completed crank-in (began filming).
