My first post is...potato nationalism. Seriously though, collards, onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, squash, all them, and more. We live in fertile lands on this good earth. Start making your garden. Appalachia has Rocky soil but the best soil. It's as it's people, Rocky, underneath but beautiful and fertile to its core. Men of the West (by 1700s colonial standards) be the Wildman hunter and farmer. God (or gods) has given us this good earth. This is the season for your green thumb. It's in our blood. Our ancestors subsistenced off what they could grow, kill, or trade. Unlike Europe, we only have a generation or two to, "return to tradition."

NEW VIDEO... years ago once I seen my cousin, he had a black eye, looked like he got roughed up. I asked him what had happened... he had gotten into a fight with his Old Man. I asked him how that went, he thought for a minute. "It was like fighting a hickory stump." This answer caught me off guard lol, I asked how. "He's like a rock and you can't do anything with him." Do you know what this is? A picture from 1934… it is burley tobacco, that has been hand tied by the farmers. An old method of transporting their cash crop to the warehouses. Until the warehouses started to prefer the tobacco they bought to be pressed into bales.
