Just a little statement

Of course, I understand that what people say on Twitter is far from representing everyone’s opinion, but after yesterday’s livestream, I’m honestly just baffled by some people. Instead of talking about how good this patch is and how many QoL improvements we’re getting — like the updated camera, the 3D team menu, the reduced game size, etc. — they’re trashing the entire game just because there’s a spending event… So, if somehow this reaches someone who thinks the same way, I just want to say: you’re looking at spending events the wrong way. These are FREE BONUSES for people who are already spending money. Imagine any other patch where, for the money you spend, you simply get nothing extra. But in this patch, you’re getting a bunch of different FREE BONUSES on top of what you were already going to buy. Sure, this event might encourage a normal player to spend a little more than they usually would, and I’m not going to pretend that isn’t part of the point. But come on — nobody is going to suddenly spend $350 or however much it takes just to get that bench skin everyone is making such a huge deal about. The vast majority of players will simply spend what they were already comfortable spending and get some extra rewards on top of it. WuWa has problems, and there are quite a few of them. But at this point, it’s honestly becoming surreal. It feels like some people just want to shit on WuWa for the sake of shitting on it because everything is too good. 🧍🏻‍♂️
