#essaysBYME24 These diagrams illustrate the main changes that has taken place in a harbor since 2000. Overall, there have been several major alterations during this time, turning the harbor into a more attractive touristic destination. Visitors currently can enjoy more docks and services, which were previously either limited or unavailable. Regarding the changes in touristic facilities, there was a place of showers and toilets with two car parks just below it in the western side of the harbor. While they have fairly stayed intact, a new area with showers and toilets have been constructed between two car parks. Another change occurred in the castle situated in the south-east. It has been first turned into a hotel and then connected to the main road. One more alteration is the erection of cafes and shops just next to water. We can also witness several changes in water-related activities. For example, the marina with private yachts and fishing boats have changed their venues, with the former now situated in the south and the latter in the north. While the public beach on top has stayed open for everybody, the one in the bottom has been privatized by the hotel. Moreover, visitors can currently use two passenger ferries and two docks which was just one back in 2000. @safarov_english

#essaysBYME23 There are different opinions about how much time people should spend to work and relax during a week. Personally, I believe that if we implement the scheme of shorter working weeks, allowing employees to spend more time off-work at the weekend, this would bring more mutual benefits for both sides: company and workers. Some people may say that most companies are paying decent salary to their staff, and thus, they have the right to put several demands such as working six or sometimes even seven days a week. In this way, employees could make a contribution to the development of their workplace. If the company develops further, this would be beneficial for both workers and their workplace, ensuring more cash flow and higher salaries. However, it seems to me that having a longer weekend holiday is more advantageous, and its primary benefit is the chance for employees to spend more quality time on themselves. By allocating more time to recreational activities such as family gatherings, parties with friends or even just watching a favourite film, they could relieve their work stress and improve overall well-being, reducing the probability of taking more frequent sick-leaves from work. Such chance to get a good relax would probably be the reason for job satisfaction among staff. As well as making enough money to meet their basic needs, they are also able to fully enjoy the life with their family and friends. When they are satisfied with their job and life, the chance of employee turnover would reduce considerably, which cuts down on all the costs involved in hiring new staff and their job training. Another benefit can be higher productivity among workers. During a two- or three-day weekend holiday, the personnel highly likely feel much happier and more energetic, which can possibly enable them to create a dynamic working environment, come up with creative ideas and accomplish tasks much faster. These all factors clearly show that a longer weekend would be advantageous for not only staff but for the company as well. In conclusion, I believe that companies should be encouraged to offer longer weekend holidays to their staff because this can benefit both sides equally. @safarov_english
