Unit 9 Lesson 2, page 104, Exercise 1A and 1B. Hello again from San Diego. Today is Tuesday and we want to leave on Friday. Our destination is San Francisco, but how do we travel? Do we fly or take the bus? Well, the flight is 2 hours. But you have to arrive at the airport a long time before the flight. You need to check in two hours before. So in total, by plane the trip is about 5 hours. That's not bad and I like to fly, but the ticket is expensive. The bus isn't expensive, it is a long trip. It's 12 hours. But we can take a night bus and it arrives in San Francisco the next morning. That's good, because we don't need to stay in a hotel on Friday night. So we're taking the bus. We just need to buy our tickets online. And then San Francisco, here we come on the bus.

There are tall buildings and towers, but also beautiful mosques and interesting museums and the food. Manama has some great restaurants and cafes, but I'm not going to eat now. Let's get some exercise. First, we're going to walk in the King Faisal Corniche Park. With its great views of the ocean and the city, come on, let's take a tour in Manama.

Unit 9 Lesson 5, page 110, Exercise 2A and 2B. My presentation is about destination marketing. First of all, what is it? Well, imagine you have a hotel or a restaurant. You need to advertise it so you can get customers. You need to advertise a tourist destination in the same way it can be a beach. A city, even a country. The aim of destination marketing is to bring a lot of visitors to your location. Destination marketing is important. We need to create new ways of marketing to be successful because tourism always changes. Here are two important points. First, today's tourists are young. 70% of them are 20 to 30 years old. 2nd. Young tourists usually use the Internet to find new places. So first of all you need to create an interesting website and it has to be clear so it's easy to find the information. It's also important to get visitors comments. People like to read visitors opinions about locations. They believe visitors more than hotel websites or tourist companies. Another important point is to use video and especially VR virtual reality. It's a good way to advertise the destination. The main purpose of it is to show people interesting places. For example, on a website about Paris, they can take a VR tour to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Then they'll really want to go there and that's a very important part of online marketing. These are a few ideas for destination marketing. There are many others.
