…So I say; know that Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, sent Muhammad, peace be upon him, with the Hanif religion, the religion of Abraham, and commanded him to follow it, saying: "Then We revealed to you: Follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists." (Quran 16:123). And He commanded him to declare to those who abandoned it that he is committed to it and is innocent of those who oppose it, saying: "Say, "O mankind, indeed I am to you a clear warner. Worship Allah and be sincere to Him in religion." And do not associate anything with Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a warner and a bringer of good tidings." (Quran 10:104-105). Indeed, Allah commanded him to declare the disbelief of the disbelievers and their innocence from the religion, saying: "Say, "O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship, nor do you worship what I worship." (Quran 109:1-3). And there are many similar verses in the Quran. In summary, the foundation of the religion of all the messengers is to establish monotheism, to love it and love its people, and to be loyal to them. It also involves denying polytheism, declaring the disbelief of its people, hating them, and showing enmity towards them, as Allah says: "Indeed, there has been for you in the messengers of Allah an excellent pattern, [in] Abraham and those with him when they said to their people, "Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from what you worship besides Allah. We have disbelieved in you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone." (Quran 60:4). The meaning of His saying, "and there has appeared," is that it has become clear and evident. …فأقول: اعلم: أن الله سبحانه وبحمده، بعث محمداً صلى الله عليه وسلم بالحنيفية ملة إبراهيم، وأمره باتباعها بقوله: {ثُمَّ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ أَنِ اتَّبِعْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفاً وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ} [سورة النحل آية: ١٢٣] ، وأمره بالتصريح لمن تركها، بأنه لازم لها، وبريء ممن خالفها، بقوله: {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِنْ دِينِي فَلا أَعْبُدُ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَكِنْ أَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفاً وَلا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ} [سورة يونس آية: ١٠٤-١٠٥] . ج: ص: بل أمره الله: أن يصرح بكفر الكافرين، وبراءتهم من الدين، بقوله: {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ لا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ وَلا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ} [سورة الكافرون آية: ١-٣] . وأمثال هذا في القرآن كثير. وبالجملة: فأصل دين جميع الرسل، هو القيام بالتوحيد، ومحبته ومحبة أهله، وموالاتهم، وإنكار الشرك، وتكفير أهله، وبغضهم، وإظهار عداوتهم، كما قال تعالى: {قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ إِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَآءُ مِنْكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاءُ أَبَداً حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ} [سورة الممتحنة آية: ٤] ، ومعنى قوله: {وَبَدَا} أيك ظهر وبان؛والمراد التصريح باستمرار العداوة والبغضاء لمن لم يوحد ربه. الدرر السنية (8/417-18)
