Armenia announced an attempted military coup with the help of fighters trained in Russia. Law enforcement agencies of Armenia have detained three defendants in the case of preparing a coup d'état, four more members of the group have been put on the wanted list, the Investigative Committee of the Republic reports. "These persons, by prior conspiracy to seize power in Armenia, receiving a reward of about 220.000 rubles a month, organized a three-month training camp in Russia to familiarize themselves with new weapons and learn how to use them." The group consisted of citizens of Armenia and immigrants from Nagorno-Karabakh. According to the investigation, the defendants traveled to Rostov-on-Don several times, where they underwent preliminary checks and a polygraph to determine their personal characteristics and political views, as well as connections with law enforcement agencies of Armenia.
