BEEN A WHILE FRIENDSSSS HERE TO UPDATE ON THE CAMPS IVE BEEN 1. Bondue ! (business students camp) HONESSSSTLYYY I had extremely high expectations since my freshman orientation group was so so bonded and I think it was quite unrealistic tbh my expectations so inevitably it was a slight let down but of no one’s fault but my own HAHAHAH the games were soooo fun though and my facils r the sweetest people everrrr they looked out for us a lot & gave sm advice for the coming year… i just wish our group bonded a bit more! but since i have a curfew… at 11pm… i didn’t get to spend as much time with the others which also may be a factor why i felt the bond wasn’t as deep as compared to FO 🥹 I truly embodied the feeling of FOMO these days … but im expectant that there’s so much more in store especially since we just got our schedules!! And I’m in the same class one of my friends from the group HEH 2. Oikos (econs students camp) SOOOO BLESSEDDDDD I was feeling slightly down cause of my unmet expectations AHHAHA but I just had a feeling id have so much fun here and truly… it was!! My facils were SO HYPE and it also contributed that one of them was clan head… and the other was the previous pageant queen for the annual econs pageant LOLLLL SUPERRRRBS I think since we started off immediately with unhinged banter with each other we got close pretty quickly !! we all loved to have fun & let loose so random karaokes & having our own little rave wasnt uncommon HAHAHAHA it helped that the cohort was smaller too so the clans r more tight with each other 😝 especially ours. NEVERTHELESS very expectant and kinda excited to start the sem… planning to sign up for recre badminton, hopefully one academic club & an OCSP 🙏🙏 (proj cloud nine PLEASEEEEE LET ME INNNNN!! But I’ll update u guys on the status of my application dw)

heres a big lesson for 2025: u have no reason to think u are uncapable. ive spent probably the entire duration that ive been in the sg education system convinced that i had little potential or uncapable of doing bigger things beyond what looked like my comfort zone. and up till late last year, this mentality was still eating at my psyche. ive seen education as a foreigner, pr, and citizen, and to say singaporean students, citizen or not, have an insurmountable advantage as opposed to those in other countries, would be an understatement. EDUCATION IS A PRIVILEGE and it's a disservice to myself that i havent been utilising the opportunities given to me to the best of my ability. with this, neither should any of u. that jc subject combi u want? ur making it. a poly course u eae'd into? youre in and thats a no-brainer. been failing a subject for the past 4 years? change can happen, and youre gonna make it happen. if u have the drive, u have no reason to think u cant make it. im tired of the "make realistic goals" remarks ive gotten from ppl bc its never unrealistic unless u tell urself it is. u are ur worst critic but the only way u can escape ur mind's rhetoric is to accept and work forward. ur flaws are not a reason that u deserve any less than what ur heart really desires. always advocate for urself.

ALSO UPDATE. I am trying really hard to learn the guitar rn wish me all the best cause it’s not going very well… but it’s fun at least when I get the chords right LOLLLLL I just got it restrung and it’s nylon strings so i need to retune it all the time 🥲🥲🥲💔 maybe I’ll just wait till it settles in but idkkk what do yall think !

this weekend I’ll literally be silent I think maybe some tele bubbles here and there but two consecutive camps NOT IT. Super scared I fall sick… any tips…

my subclan / og group won best subclan LOL so we get to go to some networking event together (academic year opening for SMU!!) SO CUTE im SO looking forward to seeing them again, truly the best group of people and made my first ori camp for uni 🥹 This makes me excited but also slightly worried about my other camps (biz & econs) but judging by how active the gcs are and how hype our ogls are too I am expectant !! And there’s beach day for both camps so let’s pray #nosuffering #nosunburn #allfun #fullofbonding Truly I started to believe like it’s majority (IN MY PERSONALLLLLL BELIEF OFC THERES DIFF EXP) but it’s the people that make the experience of camp, the willingness to open up and be excited to know new people despite the obvious awkwardness or forced situation. I think my group overcame that during the camp which made us SOOOOOOOO much more bonded planning so many hangouts and being so ourselves in such a short period of time, not everyone were extroverts but everyone took the effort to reach out make conversations, find common topics, mutuals that we had with each other and all which was just reallllllyyy nice :) LOVE FO!! love lumina 10 (love our GLs too they were soooo fun and nice)
