but to add to this, of course have fun as much as you can, honestly it depends on your school too HAHAHHA if you're in nus and the blessing of S/U mods r upon u THAT IS AMAZING & please go enjoy your first year to the max LOL really js depends on your circumstances but sadly in my situation... there's no other fix than to just study more JAHHAH

hi guys... back an alive after the most packed week ever... would love to say I've studied a ton but that would be lying LOL i've made a resolution next week onwards to NOT be going out unecessarily so i'll actually make time to lock in after the horrible midterms... honestly this has been a big issue for me but ESPECIALLY in uni where every time i miss a hangout or outing the FOMO gets sooooo bad so in the end i end up accepting every single hangout offer & just going out every single day without making time for my priorities which SHOULD be my studies... I don't really know if this is a universal struggle lol but i think good advice if you're someone easily swept into the whole whirlwind of things. During orientation period too in j2 i fel the exact same way as i am now, just that the FOMO feels 10x worse. I think it's good to take some time at the start of uni after getting all your mods to form a schedule, get into a routine, plan out non-negotiable things that should be in and make sure to do them every single day. and honestly, realising it now it's all about prioritising who and what is important during this season of my life, it's OKAY to miss some outings with friends!! if theyre true friends and they cherish your presence, missing one or two would NOT affect how deep and meaningful the relationship is HAHAH this is something i truly just realised or was reminded of a few days ago. hope this piece of advice would help someone in the future facing the same problems too AHAH
