heres a brief-ish summary of smu biz if anyone needs anymore help or anything to break the dilemma i was in... this was a message to one of my juniors so forgive me if the pronouns are abit off HAHAH 1. workload TO BE VERY HONEST i think workload without CCA and all that is still about only HALF of JC icl… like JC was insane the amount of studying we needed to do but I think in uni as long as you’re consistent… biz is split into 2 baskets for y1 basket a : more wordy more language and essay writing (usually 5 modules which is near the max u can take) TONS OF DEADLINES damn easy to miss them the workload not that bad actually so if udh much gg on there’s no way you’ll miss deadlines basket b: more math heavy and numerical type (usually 4 mods) To me this was near hell but I think cause i was tryna cope with the new CCA and all PLUS uni PLUS i suck at math so it was pure hell but … know your strengths I CAN HELP SUGGEST WHICH MODULES TO BID FOR !! basket A usually bid 2 mods, basket b usually bid 1 mod the rest are preassigned so every biz student does it CCA: q overwhelming i think smu students damn hustler like everyone will pressure you to join academic clubs (I HAD NO IDEA WHAT ACAD CLUBS EVEN WERE IN JC) but these clubs helps a lot esp for internships, networking etc in the future head online reddit, smu website to look around for all the different acad clubs! i'm in eye investment so drop a text if you're interested in hearing more about my experienceee i do have friends in other acad clubs i can ask if yall have more questions as well :) MANYYYY other ccas other than acad clubs pls go for VIVACE it’s a cca festival event thing ! Get to know and try all the diff ccas :) sports la performing arts etc ALSO for all CCAs usually need to pay to join, some is 4 year payment some is every year or every semester need to pay like 10-15 dollars more expensive sports like golf is like 60 for 4 yrs but honestly think it's q worth if youre going regularly ! 2. CAMPS: Just join all, network and have fun meet up with other people in your prev skool to have a good footing and foundation Freshman Orientation: usually ppl say boring but my group fun ah.. then everything fun! Is the people that matters but I think be the person who brings the group super close, make it fun for everyone Business camp : BONDUE CAMP GOT BEACH DAYYYYYYYY a lot more likely to get close I recommend whenever u play games against other teams talk to them and vibe, talk to the them then exchange ig then can make more friendss Oikos camp so so fun but i've explained it before abovee hehe Go every camp u can think of and join everything maximise ur uni time i also have a message gg thru all the different camps i went for and my experience ill bump it after this message so you guys can read too :p

hi guysss been a while since results release but i hope everyone took some time to process their results :) really happy and proud of everyone, i've seen so many of my juniors work their bums off mugging and grinding for As and I really see how much time and effort poured into your work although it might be naive to hope that everyone is happy with their grades i really do hope you dont just see the rp, the letters but rather the improvement made throughout the two years every single exam mightve been disappointing or made it difficult for you to dream of something bigger of a higher grade but I hope you reward yourself for the efforts YOU KNOW you put into it and i hope that there isnt any regret within you that "i should've studied harder, i could've done more", none of that. anyways to those who are ecstatic with their results i'm so very happy for you as well :) so many of my juniors found their results so unexpected and just couldnt believe their eyes so please enjoyyyyy all the best for apps my friendsss if anyone has any questions on SMU biz drop it down here! i'll be sending in a summarised ver. of my experience soon so keep a lookout :D need any other help on other smu degrees like Accountancy, IS, CS, SOSS, CIS, Law pls drop the qns here tooooo i'll ask my friends (maybe even degrees for other skls too but... i'll try my best to find friendss who do them!)
