📈🎯🔑key strategies for memorization & retention

📈🎯🔑key strategies for memorization & retention: 1.Repetition: Repeating the information multiple times can help solidify it in your memory. 2.Active recall: Testing yourself on the information by trying to recall it from memory can help strengthen your memory of it. 3.Spaced repetition: Spacing out your study sessions over time, rather than cramming all at once, can help your brain better retain the information. 4.Mnemonics: Using memory aids such as mnemonic devices, mental images, or acronyms can help make the information easier to remember. 5.Chunking: Breaking the information down into smaller, manageable chunks can make it easier to learn and remember. 6.Sleep: Getting enough sleep is important for memory consolidation, so make sure you get enough rest. 7.Practice visualization: Creating mental images of the information can help to make it more memorable and easier to recall. 8.Teach others: Teaching the information to someone else can help you better understand and remember it, as you have to explain the information in your own words. 9.Write it down: Writing information down by hand can help to reinforce the memory and make it easier to recall later on. 10.Use multiple senses: Engaging multiple senses such as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic can help make the information more memorable. 11.🌟Prioritize: Focus on the most important information first and prioritize that over less important details. 12.Take breaks: Taking regular breaks while studying can help to refresh the mind and prevent burnout. 🤷🙇Ultimately, the best strategy will depend on the individual and the type of information being memorized. It may be helpful to experiment with different techniques to find what works best for you. Remember that memorization is a process, and it takes time and effort to commit something to memory Do join our channel's: For 1st year https://t.me/anatomy_mbbs_notes https://t.me/physiology_mbbs_notes https://t.me/biochemisty_mbbs_notes For 2 nd year https://t.me/pathology_mbbs_notes https://t.me/pharmacology_notes_mcqs https://t.me/microbiology_mbbs_notes

A story for easy rememberance of autoclave & hot air oven Once upon a time, there was a laboratory assistant named Alice who was in charge of sterilizing equipment using an autoclave and a hot air oven. She was determined to make sure that everything was properly sterilized to keep the lab safe and clean. One day, she realized that she had been having a difficult time remembering the proper cycle duration and temperature for each piece of equipment. She knew that she needed to come up with a way to easily remember the information so that she could be sure that everything was being sterilized correctly. After some thought, Alice decided to make a story to help her remember the information. She imagined that the autoclave was a dragon, breathing fire at a temperature of 121 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. This helped her remember that the autoclave needed to be set to 121 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes to properly sterilize the equipment. Next, she thought about the hot air oven, which she imagined was a giant bird, soaring through the sky at a temperature of 170 degrees Celsius for 1 hour. This helped her remember that the hot air oven needed to be set to 170 degrees Celsius for 1 hour to properly sterilize the equipment. With her story in mind, Alice was able to easily remember the proper cycle duration and temperature for the autoclave and hot air oven. She felt confident that she was keeping the lab safe and clean, and her colleagues were impressed by her clever method of memorization. From that day forward, Alice never forgot the correct cycle duration and temperature for the autoclave and hot air oven, and the lab continued to be a safe and clean place for everyone to work. ✍️ Contribution by Umer Mubashir OMC 2k20 Do join us for more https://t.me/microbiology_mbbs_notes

IMViC test: The IMViC test is a group of four separate tests used to identify and differentiate between different types of bacteria in the Enterbacteriaceae family. The test is an acronym for Indole, Methyl red, Voges-Proskauer, and Citrate tests. The four tests are: Indole test: used to detect the presence of the enzyme tryptophanase, which is produced by some bacteria to break down the amino acid tryptophan. Methyl red test: used to determine whether a bacterial culture can produce mixed acid fermentation of glucose. Voges-Proskauer test: used to detect the presence of the enzyme acetylmethylcarbinol, which is produced by some bacteria during glucose metabolism. Citrate test: used to determine whether a bacterial culture can utilize citrate as its sole source of carbon. Do join us for more Mcq's & NOTES 👇 https://t.me/microbiology_mbbs_notes
