Dear Student, Amazon University Talent Acquisition Team has launched the third edition of 'Amazon ML Challenge' on 26th Aug 2024 and the registration window is open till 9th September 2024. About ML Challenge: An annual flagship competition launched in 2021 to attract, engage and hire top ML student talent from engineering institutes in India. In addition to building Amazon’s brand in ML, the ML Challenge will i) provide students with a glimpse into ML problems that we solve at Amazon, ii) tap into ML expertise in academia to solve Amazon ML problems, and iii) identify ML talent for our scientist recruiting pipeline. Program Structure: Amazon ML Challenge is a two stage competition where students from all engineering campuses across India will get a unique opportunity to work on Amazon’s dataset to bring in fresh ideas and build innovative solutions for a real world problem statement. The Round 1 of the competition is ML based Hackathon in which participants got access to problem statement with data set on 13th September 2024 and submitted their solutions by 15th September 2024. Teams will be able to track their performance and rankings live through a leader board over the course of this round. The Round 2(Grand Finale) of the challenge would be solution presentation to the Jury, by the top 10 teams on the leader board. The finale will be hosted live virtually on 24th September 2024 and streamed on twitch. Top three winning teams will receive cash prizes and certificates. Eligibility Criteria: This competition is open to all students enrolled in PhD/ M.E./M.Tech./ M.S./MS by Research/B.E./B.Tech. full-time degree across all engineering campuses in India. Graduation Year: 2025 or 2026 Each team must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 members. Each team must have a team leader. Cross-college teams are allowed.
