"The Hexenkopf in Pennsylvania
The Hexenkopf Rock in Pennsylvania is a popular destination for many "Weird" happenings. The site of numerous instances of folklore and "supernatural" occurrences. However most notable the Hexenkopf is considered the Throne the Goddess Holle took after she led the ancestors of the Pennsylvania Dutch to America. In Germany many similar legends are given to mounds, cairns and mountains for Holle so it stands to reason she would find a fitting throne in America for her followers, known as Urglaawe in America."

The terms mana, maning and svärja in Old Swedish and Danish were all used in late folk tradition and trolldom. Mana is a request or an order, and maning is an exhortation, or a conjuration; svärja is used for adjuration; making pacts, swearing oaths, or the recitation of formula meant to conjure spirits.
Folk attestations like these confirms to us the older understanding of gods and spirits as personal beings rather than impersonal concepts or archetypes, and that dealing with them traditionally is direct through our word, pact and blood, as we see in the sagas. | 297 |

The cult of holle was present throughout most of Germany with the name of holle varying from region to region with many of the traits and characteristics of the goddess staying the same.
In Pennsylvanian German folk tradition there exists a myth about holle in which she was responsible for the migration of the first German settlers to the new world in 1682. All German-Americans are children of Holle and the goal of this channel is to help those who seek to revive her cult.

| 7 |  Good perspective on the complexities of what can be constituted as “Norse religion”. The same sentiments can be said about “Germanic religion” as whole.
The reality of “heathen religion” is not as simple as the modern mind might think, and paradoxically, it was probably more simple than we realize. It is not simply something you declare to believe in. It goes much deeper, with ancestry, place, culture, language and religion all engaging with one another. It is a way of living, a way of thinking, a way of interpreting, a way of acting, all intertwined together. It is a current of being, a reality. This is why it is incompatible with the modern universalist frame.
This way would be alien to even those who profess to be heathen today, as many try to fit ancient culture to fit a modern interpretation rather than work to experience the reality of one’s ancestors. Interpretatio moderna creates further distance between us and that reality.
It is not something that can be defined by any organization, it can’t be neatly consolidated in a book, and it cannot be captured by social media nor by memes, no matter how hard many might try.

I'm not trying to create discord with the owner of the EuropeanVolk channel. Perhaps he/she did this accidentally, but it nevertheless highlights the casual undermining of humanity in this post-AI age.

| 20 | There's an aspect of the online AI revolution which gives cause for hope, and I've been thinking about it a lot lately.
We're about to reach a tipping point where we cannot trust the authenticity of anything we see or hear through a digital device. That's not to say that everything will be fake, but that fakeries and scams will be common enough that we need to check.
How miserable that will be - nightmarish, really! Corresponding, reading, viewing, or listening to anything online will soon be a stressful experience. Some—maybe the majority—shall accept or wilfully ignore the fakeness of Online and continue to be entertained. But many of us will find it unbearable. The addiction of logging on for meaningful conversation and content will be replaced by an aversion and avoidance of Online.
I welcome this. In fact, part of me has longed for it. We live in a beautiful natural realm, where everything of real value existed before the screen. We've got so much to gain and little to lose by restoring balance to our attention.
The downside will be that we've all made online friends who we enjoy corresponding with. We'll have to become pen-pals, to know that we're actually corresponding with them and not some AI impersonator or scammer, or conversing with them via some automated responder because they're too busy watching Netflix (in which case, they were never a 'pal' anyway). Another downside will be that it's hard to stay informed of national or global affairs; though that will apply whether we're online or offline, given the widespread deceit and state-control that's coming. | 287 |
