Our investigations lead us to suspect an individual of committing fraudulent acts that may have compromised the integrity of assets. It is also possible that the current and historical data at our disposal has been tampered with, with a high degree of sophistication. At this time, we cannot disclose the name of the suspected individual, for fear of defamation.
We are actively investigating to assess the impact on platform clients' assets. Our priority is the protection and recovery of clients' assets and their return. We have already contacted and alerted the authorities, with whom we stand fully ready to cooperate. Unfortunately, the current situation no longer allows the platform to process fund withdrawals until it is resolved.
We fully empathize with your distress and impatience. In the event of asset compromise, we too will be fully affected and harmed by the potential fraudulent actions of the suspected individual. If our suspicions are confirmed, rest assured that the fraudulent activities will have benefited only the individual in question, to the detriment of all other internal and external stakeholders.
We are subject to significant uncertainties and legal constraints, which require us to be cautious in our communication. Nevertheless, we are doing everything possible to be as transparent as possible in the current situation. In addition to our immediate actions, we are already exploring all possible collective recourse against the suspected individual, if our suspicions are confirmed.
We will keep you informed to the best of our ability as the situation develops.

LEARN ABOUT THE DENCUN HARDFORK
This tech insight concerns the 2nd phase of the Ethereum roadmap: the arrival of The Surge, the next major update following the successful implementation of The Merge and Shapella. Spearheaded by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, The Surge marks a pivotal moment in Ethereum's roadmap, aiming to significantly enhance the network's scalability and efficiency, and curtail Ethereumâs gas fees.
The primary focus of The Surge is to facilitate the scalability of Ethereum's Layer 2 solutions, particularly rollups, by addressing critical issues related to data availability and cost. Rollups, which execute transactions off-chain before settling them on the Ethereum blockchain, have faced challenges due to the expensive nature of data storage and limited capacity.
To tackle these issues head-on, The Surge introduces the Dencun Hardfork, slated for early 2024, comprising a series of Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) aimed at optimizing the network's execution and consensus layers.
Key among these proposals is EIP-4844, also known as Proto-Danksharding, which revolutionizes rollup data storage by introducing blobs. Blobs, large-sized objects capable of storing data, offer several advantages over traditional calldata, including reduced gas costs and enhanced scalability. By adopting blobs, Ethereum aims to support over 100,000 transactions per second, paving the way for unprecedented network scalability. The proto danksharding is the first step of the Danksharding, aiming to incorporate 64 blobs giving the 1 million / sec transactions possible.
Furthermore, EIP-4844 incorporates Proto-Danksharding, a groundbreaking concept that lays the groundwork for future scalability enhancements. Proto-Danksharding aims to ensure data availability for rollups while significantly reducing the computational burden on network nodes, thereby enhancing overall efficiency.
In addition to Proto-Danksharding, The Surge introduces other crucial EIPs, including EIP-5656 and EIP-6780, focusing on network optimization and protocol enhancements. EIP-5656 introduces MCOPY, an instruction designed to efficiently copy memory areas within the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), thereby improving performance and reducing gas costs.
Moreover, EIP-6780 addresses the functionality of the SELFDESTRUCT opcode, enhancing security and efficiency within smart contracts. By deprecating SELFDESTRUCT and introducing alternative behaviors, Ethereum aims to mitigate potential vulnerabilities and improve the overall robustness of the network and preparing the Verkle Tree: reducing blocksâ size.
The successful implementation of The Surge holds immense promise for the Ethereum ecosystem, unlocking new levels of scalability, efficiency, and security. With the Dencun Hardfork and the adoption of groundbreaking proposals like Proto-Danksharding, Ethereum reaffirms its position as a leading blockchain platform capable of supporting diverse decentralized applications and use cases. | 0 |
