Well, he has a 6.98 Minor League ERA in 2024 over 22 starts. Whereas Davis Martin for the White Sox has a respectable 3.22 ERA over 5 MLB starts.
At +115, I still leaned Chicago but it wasn’t enough value to make a bet. The public has pushed this line up to +130 & there is simply no way this kid with his minor league numbers making his MLB debut on the road can be a -150 favorite.
