Increasing trade and investment among African nations is the ultimate Pan African agenda. The role of the Pan African Assembly is therefore to remove all barriers to thriving Intra Africa Trade.

Held talks with H.E Hassan S Mohamud, President of Somalia, on the sidelines of the AU summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. A peaceful Somalia will provide a conducive atmosphere for increase in trade between the two nations.

Kenya will continue to support a stable and peaceful Somalia for the benefit of its people and the East Africa region.

Through common endeavour, we have the power to secure the people’s well-being and fulfil their aspirations while diminishing terrorism threat.

We must disrupt the financial infrastructures, weapons supply chains and sanction the enablers of terrorism in the Horn of Africa. Our collective effort in anti-terrorism proves that peace is within reach.

At the Africa Prosecutors’ Association Conference, Mombasa County; pledged to promote an environment for the revival of Kenya’s prosecutorial zeal, guided by national values and principles of governance.

We will work together in advancing a robust mechanism to detect and deter transnational organised crime that threatens the Africa We Want.

The Constitution is our guide in the delivery of our empowerment agenda for the people of Kenya. We are committed to its values and will honour its dictates because this is the only path to achieving sustainable development now and in the future.

On my own behalf and that of the people of Kenya, I convey wishes for quick recovery to those who were injured and pray for the souls of the departed.

This awful act is a reminder of the ever present terrorist threat and underscores the imperative to strengthen the resolve of our nations, individually and collectively, to deal with this threat to international peace and security.

Kenya condemns this heinous crime and commends the DRC forces for their swift action that led to the arrest of suspected terrorists.

I have learnt with deep sorrow of the terrorist attack on the 8th CEPAC Lubiriha Church during the Baptism ceremony on Sunday, January 14th, 2023, that led to deaths and injury of innocent civilians.
