67-year-old retired artist Ed Suman lost his entire life savings — over $2M in crypto in a sophisticated scam. 1️⃣ It started with a text about “suspicious activity” on his Coinbase account. 2️⃣ Then came the call: “Brett Miller from Coinbase Security” — the guy knew his name, wallet, even the balance. 3️⃣ He convinced Suman that his Trezor wallet was at risk, and tricked him into entering his seed phrase on a fake Coinbase site. 📞 Nine days later, a second guy called. “Last time didn’t work” he said and repeated the process.

🚕🙅🏼‍♂️ Fake Uber, one cigarette — and $123,000 in crypto gone A situation that could happen to anyone who holds crypto... 1️⃣ An American tourist ordered an Uber in London. A car pulled up, the driver called his name — he got in. Later, it turned out: it wasn’t the car shown in the app. 2️⃣ The driver offered him a cigarette — police believe it contained scopolamine, a drug that causes memory loss and makes people suggestible. 🌟 After being drugged, he unlocked his phone and gave access to his wallets. Police confirmed the attacker accessed his crypto via a compromised Revolut account.

Total loss: – $72,000 in XRP ~ $50,000 in BTC – and some smaller tokens
